What to bring to camp.

What should I bring with me?

Tent, mattress/airbed,  bedding,  Extra tent pegs,  July can still be a little chilly at night (temperatures have been as low as 5°C) so bring extra bedding and clothes to put on if needed.

The weather can range from heavy rain to a heatwave so bring appropriate clothing to cover a range of different types of weather.

Wellies Eating utensils, plate, bowl & mug Water bottle Tea/Coffee. Cooking pots & utensils. You don't need to bring the whole range of large pots, fire and wood-cutting tools as there is always some sharing in circles.

Eco friendly washing up liquid & bowl for washing your own hands and dishes.

Matches / lighter,  Water carrier,  Loo rolls, Torch, Fold-up chair,  Suntan lotion (if you like to be optimistic about the weather!) Hot water bottle (if you're not so optimistic!)

If you need your mobile phone, you will need to make your own arrangements for charging it (e.g. USB power pack) - there are no facilities on site.

Earplugs (if you prefer not to be woken by the dawn chorus or prefer to go to sleep earlier in the evening - some members of your circle may enjoy late night chats around the fire)

Musical instruments if you have them

Items & resources to facilitate workshops if you are inspired.

If you have a stove in your tent or vehicle you are required to bring a fire bucket/blanket.

First Aid Kit, own medications and rescue remedies. (see Staying Well at Camp)

Food stuffs for breakfasts, snacks and a shared meal. (See What Food To Bring) for more information.   (We recommend a vegetarian diet as there is no cold storage and meat / fish and dairy products will go off quickly)

Leave behind alcohol, drugs, dogs, electronic music and electrical items.
