Dancing Hearts

Community Camp

24 - 28 July 2026
St Ives, Cambridge

£85 per adult
£20 per child

£30 Sunday only

We invite you to join for 5 days of peace & re-connection to the land, our true selves and to each-other.

2026 is our 6th year of coming together to connect to nature on a lovely private field, bordered by trees and hedges, just outside St Ives in Cambridgeshire.

There is plenty of space to breathe, relax, sing, dance and to gaze at stunning sunsets. Camping around fires, savouring beautiful quiet surroundings and gentle time with lovely people.

Workshops will be co-created at the beginning of the weekend and the last three years have included meditation, story telling, Dances of Universal Peace, 5 Rhythms, Dance of Life, axemanship, bushcraft, music, songs, yoga & other spiritual and personal development sharing.

For 2026, we are delighted to say that we have been fortunate to recieve funding to support Dance of Universal Peace (DUP) leaders to attend our camp and offer sessions which foster unity, peace and spiritual connection. We will update this website as soon as possible with the leaders who are confirmed.

We welcome families, young people and the young at heart! Fun activities for all include; badminton, mindfulness games, hot chocolate and bread twizlers, circle games and craft activities.

Arrivals are from Friday noon onwards, to allow us to start a nurturing weekend together.

There are hot showers, a beautiful new compost loo (lovingly named 'Mabel'), flushing toilets, electric hookup for vans and great parking.

We are a non for profit group - no one is paid for their time and commitment to making the camp happen.

Community Camping
Dancing Hearts is a seed camp of the Sacred Arts Camp.  We have based our camp on the same principles so that we enjoy a drug, alcohol, media,  car and elctricity free environment.  We do this so we can meet each other and ourselves as authentically as possible.   We ask that mobile phones are on silent and kept in your tent or car during camp.

All beliefs and none are welcome at camp as we honour and celebrate a wide range of spiritual practices through the workshops and dances.

We camp in circles so that we can best support each other and help each person have the best experience possible.

We are a small camp and we all work together during the time to help with wood cutting, fire making, preparing food and cooking, participating and sharing teachings and sessions.

We start each day with a community meeting and as we are a small group we get the opportunity to truly connect with each other.
